Our Services

Professional lawn mowing

A well-kept lawn transforms your entire garden. We provide regular mowing, crisp edging and seasonal care to keep your lawn looking its best year-round.

What's included

Every lawn visit includes a thorough mow at the correct height for the season, neat edging along borders, paths and drives, and a blow-down of any clippings from hard surfaces. We adjust cutting height through the year — higher in summer to protect against drought, and gradually lower in spring and autumn for a tighter finish.

Striped finishes. We use professional cylinder and rotary mowers that produce clean stripes on most lawn types. For smaller or more intricate lawns — common in Leamington's Regency townhouse gardens — we switch to a narrower deck for a precise cut around beds and borders.

Edging that makes the difference. A freshly edged lawn looks twice as good as one that's simply been mown. We re-cut lawn edges with a half-moon edger periodically and maintain them with shears or a strimmer at every visit. It's the detail that separates a good lawn from a great one.

Seasonal lawn care. We'll advise on scarifying, aerating and feeding at the right times. Spring and autumn feeds make a visible difference within weeks. For lawns that have become tired or patchy, we can overseed bare areas and treat moss problems to bring them back to health.

Frequently asked questions

How often should you mow my lawn?

During the growing season (April–October) most lawns benefit from a cut every 1–2 weeks. In peak summer growth, weekly is ideal. Over winter we drop to monthly or as-needed visits.

What height do you cut at?

We adjust through the year — higher in summer (around 35–40mm) to protect from drought, gradually lower in spring and autumn (25–30mm) for a tighter finish. We never scalp.

Do you take grass clippings away?

Yes — every visit includes clearing clippings from paths and hard surfaces. We can also remove them from site for a small additional fee, or mulch them back into a healthy lawn.

When do you start cutting again in spring?

Usually from mid-March, once growth begins and the ground is dry enough to cut without rutting. We don't cut waterlogged lawns — we'll reschedule rather than damage your grass.

Can you maintain striped lawns?

Yes — we use professional cylinder and rotary mowers that produce clean stripes on most lawn types. The width of the stripe depends on the mower we'd use for your lawn size.
