Targeted weed control
Weeds quietly rob your garden of nutrients, light and the look you've worked hard for. We clear them by hand, treat them at the root and give your borders, lawn and paths their proper shape back.
How we approach weeds
Most Warwickshire gardens have the same handful of stubborn customers — dandelions and creeping buttercup in the lawn, bindweed and ground elder in the borders, moss between patio joints. We tackle each by the right method for the spot it's in, so you get a lasting result rather than a quick spray that grows back twice as thick.
Hand-weeding borders. Around your prized plants we work by hand with a fork and hori-hori, lifting weeds at the root rather than leaving stubs behind. We bag everything as we go so seeds aren't redistributed across the bed.
Lawn weed treatment. For broad-leaved lawn weeds — dandelions, daisies, plantain, clover — we use a targeted selective treatment that kills the weeds without harming the grass. Best applied in spring and autumn when the weeds are actively growing.
Patio & path weeds. Block paving, gravel and patio joints collect seeds and develop a green film over the years. We brush out the joints, treat the persistent roots and re-sand if needed so the surface looks new again — pairs well with our patio pressure washing.
Moss in lawns. Moss is a symptom of poor drainage, shade or low feed. We can apply a moss killer in spring or autumn, then scarify out the dead material — see our lawn treatment service for the full programme.

Frequently asked questions
Are the weed treatments safe for pets and children?
Yes, when used correctly. We use professional products at label rates and the treated area is safe to walk on once dry (usually 1–2 hours). For lawn weed treatments we'll advise on a short keep-off period.
How long will it last before weeds come back?
Hand-weeded borders stay clear for 6–8 weeks. Treated lawn weeds typically die back within 2–3 weeks and don't return that season. Patio weeds need a top-up treatment 2–3 times a year.
Do you use chemical or organic methods?
Both — we always start with mechanical removal (hand-weeding, scraping out joints) and only use targeted treatments where it's necessary. We can do a fully organic plan if you prefer.
Can you remove deep-rooted weeds like bindweed or ground elder?
Yes — these need persistence. We dig out as much as we can and follow up with a targeted spot treatment on regrowth. Usually 2–3 visits clears most of it.
Can you treat moss in my lawn?
Yes — moss treatment is part of our lawn programme. We apply a moss killer, then scarify out the dead material, then feed the lawn so the grass crowds the moss out. Best done in spring or autumn.
